Bruce Campbell and Devon Sawa bring the laughs and the gore in this low budget flick. Where the CGI effects are lacking, the practical effects make up for it. As a disaster movie, it's better than a lot of stuff I've watched recently, and even packs in a lot of horror tropes, including monsters (besides the customers), suspense, and even a late-in-the-plot betrayal. It's the movie you didn't know you definitely wanted to watch (unless you work in retail, in which case you've fantasized about this every Thanksgiving).
