Bill Walker's book is an history lesson. It is also a testament and a memoir. As somebody who has worked with Billy it is incredible to me that he is not bitter about his upbringing. Indeed in a bigger picture it does not fall in with nature/nurture theories. Billy is a big-hearted wonderful man who will do anything for anybody. There is enough love and care in this one man to fill any institution within which he has worked whether that be school, hospital and church. If you read this book you will be amazed, you will be uplifted and you will learn that Billy Walker is a man whom you should wish to know. In my view this book is worth more stars than I have given it. It could have done with further proof reading which would have improved it as a read. But I suspect that Billy wrote it exclusively for his family, a legacy for those who wish to know about him in the future. If one can get beyond the fact that it needed a more substantive proof read, then this is a wonderful story. I recommend this book.
