Spoiler-free.
The movie was great, the cast’s performances were top notch, the dialogue felt real especially Fraser’s Charlie and Sink’s Ellie (for a troubled teen that’s on the outs with the world). It was sad throughout and it came in waves; from silences screaming subtext to outburst’s of pain. The pacing was honestly wild it flew by. I don’t know whether it was the director, writer, producer, I don’t know; it felt as though whomever was steering the ship was saddened too.
This is without a doubt a movie that I plan to rewatch.
