I opened this book with great expectations of an amazing novel. I'm about 1/3 of the way into it and I'm honestly not sure I want to keep investing my time with reading this. It's well-written, however the characters have no depth of personality and absolutely everything about this book so far is very dry and "surface-level." Maybe that was the author's intention, since most Hollywood outsiders would only see the surface-level things - BUT since this is supposed to be a biography, in my opinion there really ought to be more feeling or life to the story being told.
