I never thought I’d say this about FFXIV. But did the dev team actually play the expansion and thought it was OK to release? This just doesn’t seem like something the dev team we know would do. This is completely baseless, but I think there might be some other forces that interfered with the dev team such as the shareholders and the notorious SBI. I think they might be forcing the use of a less competent writer either to lower the cost or because the writer is the relative of someone in the higher ups. It looks like corporate greed is going to ruin FFXIV, and there’s nothing we can do about it.
