This was a superb poignant work in 1983 and still is. It crosses a certain line of mindset held by men, only men & women of honor the very few that carry this insight will get this movie. My dear Father once told me of such a thing, a bloody waste of a good life. The music score is well suited and David Bowie was outstanding along with the cast, timeless. Cheers j.
