Unlike many of the top comments I read through, who only watched one episode before reviewing, I have actually watched the entire season and... it is not great. I don’t think the creators of this show ever decided on a direction. There are 3 or 4 different plot threads and they just never enthusiastically commit to any one of them. With only 6 episodes to fulfill, you’d think that would’ve been so much easier to accomplish. Ultimately, it ends up feeling like a fan film series you’d watch on YouTube.

I want to like it more, but it seems like a Frankenstein’s monster that’s been cobbled together from a bunch of different sources, but none of the body parts are working together.

Spectacularly devoid of humor.

What does this show have to do with the original Perry Mason show or pulp books? Why not just give this show another name?
