Story: 5/5. I'm watching these films again with my niece and nephew and I am impressed at the fact that, so many years later, this story still manages to be engaging and effective. It establishes its characters and its rules early on and in a very unstandable way. Andy has many toys, Woody being his favourite, and every birthday and Christmas, the introduction of a new toy introduces possible competition. A clear and simple premise and it is pulled off expertly with clear motivations and good character development that was always sensible. The humour is good and sharp and does not feel dated. The threats were real and tense, too, which is a great achievement for a film with such a setting. The children loved it and followed along easily. The voice acting was good all-round.
