I adore this movie, very adorable, and I can relate to it as well. However, the movie is PG for a reason, of course, cause of the period talk and all of that, but some younger kids do need to know about that stuff however, the movie depicted it the most "friendliest" way possible. I do agree that they may need to tone it down a little bit in some scenes, for example, the "sexy" drawings and all of that, but other than that it has a very nice plot. Nothing seems wrong with it in general other than all of that puberty talk. It targets a somewhat 10-teen+ audience, my parents when they watched it never had a problem with it, my brother is 11, and I'm 14. They never had a problem with it and all the other scenes.
