I didn’t really know what to expect going in but I was surprised that this film had such a great cast. They were all small roles but still impressive. This script went in so many different directions I still can’t say if it was a fantasy/sci-fi or romance, comedy? It wouldn’t surprise me to find this was a book and the book was really good but the script got butchered. There was some value in the movie and you can learn some things, like Euphoria… wasn’t that the fake drug in a different movie or show? But to express an idea about addiction and the war on drugs like they did was clever, Kurt Russell said “People just wanna get high sometimes and we learned to deal with it here.” Another reviewer noted the scene where the father gets his son the car he would’ve wanted and how selfish he seemed. I agree with him although I knew where the director was trying to get us to go. I wonder how much this film made and how much it cost to produce it?

This is a must watch but it will trigger you if you’re an addict. The scenes of withdrawal are the best I’ve seen in a movie but still it’s way worse than any person or actor can portray. I know the baby is a major topic and it still haunts my visions. This movie is a must see but also something you can’t un-see once you watch it. The acting is amazing but definitely use close captioning because the accents are thick and tough to pick up on sometimes. It’s a great piece of film where nothing really happens while so many things happen. There’s no major plot, just a look at the life of a heroin addict in the best portrayal of one I’ve ever seen in any movie. I won’t watch the sequel for the same reason as another viewer stated: it won’t live up to the original. I also recommend the BBC drama TIME which depicts the most realistic portrayal of prison I’ve ever watched on television. It’s about a guard and his struggles working at an HMP when his son gets locked up and then about an inmate who killed someone in a DUI hit and run.

One of the better sitcoms ever made that have such a large cast. It launched many careers and didn’t have anyone that would have been considered a big star when the pilot was launched. Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderama, and Ashton Kutcher show off their acting abilities. Eric Foreman is the center of the show as it’s set in his house most of the time with occasional trips to local hangouts and other cast members places of interest. Much of the show is about sex and although they never show them actually smoking it, marijuana too. The first episode makes it clear as Eric Foreman goes from the smoke-filled basement to the kitchen and runs into his dad Red. He’s clearly stoned as the background swirls around and he has trouble remembering instructions Red gives him. Once the main cast started to leave for the big screen the show took about noticeable step back. Masterson, Valderama, and the Foreman parents were talented but the show just didn’t have the flair provided by Grace, and Kutcher. The guy they get to take one of the male leads in the last few seasons is awful. I sometimes watch these episodes just to see how bad this guy is. They try to use more of the Foreman parents and Fez, along with Tommy Chong but the show is never the same as it was in the beginning.

Why make a reboot about making a reboot? Besides originality for the idea, it makes no sense and seems improvisational. The writers obviously couldn't decide on the principle for the show and then decided "This could be the show!" trying to go Seinfeld-esque. The big difference is Seinfeld knew it was a comedy and the writers made it believable and funny. While watching last nights episode my gf heard me moan in agony and thought I was having a panic-attack. I told her "It's soooooo bad, I don't know if I can watch it any more." She's a BH90210 superfan who even watched the dreadful remake the WB attempted to shove down our throats years back and she refuses to give up on this 'reboot' although she admits it's not what she was hoping it'd be.
