I’m a big fan. I love historical drama and the heart warming stories that capture a time gone by.

It’s disturbing to think a show this dark and twisted is considered entertainment. There is a valid comment on overindulgence in society. I confess I watched hoping there would be a change, but no. Interesting cast but all of the note worthy actors have been in much better movies. Don’t waste your time watching it.

Davis, Pheifer and Anderson all play their First Ladies impressively but I really love Pheifer’s Betty Ford! The new lens of these eras in the White House is very engaging. I enjoy the themes that knit the three women’s stories together and with pivotal and historic moments.

Superstore is a funny, light half hour sitcom on Netflix based on the goings on and versatile personnel at a big box store. There is always a little glimpse into wild things that likely happen that the public is responsible for but we don’t want to know about. The characters of Glen, Dina, Sandra, Marcus, Garrett, Jonah, Mateo, Shyanne, and Marcus are such individuals their interactions create a variety of storylines over the six seasons. Worth a laugh and a watch.

Very engaging movie and a good way to spend an evening. We liked that it was a mixture of cheeky and action adventure - reminiscent of the Romancing the Stone series. The various “locations” /sets were like an travel adventure and of course Ryan R is an expert at the humorous delivery of the many layered jokes. Quite entertaining.

I like the mysterious story line. I liked season one a bit better as it was more “solve the puzzle” based. I love that is filmed at least in part in Lunenburg, NS, Canada. Great spot and beautifully appropriate. I hope they keep telling the story but a bit more backstory and a little less teenage angst would be good.

As a kid I read some Nancy Drew; as a teen I enjoyed the Sean Cassidy and Parker Stevenson tv series and I have to say I’ve really enjoyed this new Hardy Boys series. I like how they have set it in the 1980s with music from that time, set deck costumes and appropriately more family friendly choices over all. The mystery is well written and engaging. The two Canadian boys as leads are both very good. So from young to old alike, I think this show will appeal to anyone who watches it.

Good premise with promise for exotic locals, cheeky chemistry between good looking leads but tricky to follow. Supporting actors also need to be good not just stereotypes.
