Jack Whitehead

A show that had a lot of potential and some genuinely entertaining parts. Unfortunately, roughly around series two the story merely shares the spotlight with the larger message of generic oppression that pollutes much of modern media. Watching the show then becomes a case of waiting for the next scene wherein characters can attack white people, rather than a continuous storyline. Very unfortunate as this show could have been a modern classic.

I tried, but unfortunately couldn't get past episode one. What should have been intelligent and thought provoking turned out to be a masochistic whinge-fest. Watch something else.

It is altogether a solid sci-fi film, entertaining, if more action than horror. The xenomorph models are well done and the struggle of the crew really has you on the edge of your seat. If there were any complaints it would be that I'd have liked to see more character from the crew. My personal favourite crew member was the obligatory assh*le, just because he had personality beyond his party's purpose. Also, somewhat annoyed that the two white male actors were both made to be the villains, in typical modern media fashion, it's predictable at this point and therefore boring. Altogether I think it's a brilliant film and definitely one worth watching purely on its merit as a sci-fi spectacle.

Honestly, it was just dull. Acting was forced and the storyline cliche and boring . Watch Shetland instead.

Not much happened to be honest

It's a decent fantasy series, but lacks any historical accuracy when it comes to characters, costumes and dates. The acting is good though, and it is fast paced and violent.
