Such an amazing concept, with some really nice moments. The negative aspects of the book have to do with the limited scope of Klara's knowledge and the emotional distance of the book. This was intentional plot device but still leaves a lot to be desired when discussing some really interesting subjects such as AI, genetic engineering, how governments could handle these issues, environmental pollution and ah yes, love. I am glad that I read it though, it was really simple, light reading. Entertaining but I feel like the concept was far more interesting than the execution.
