The reviews for this game gave me a lot of grief when it first dropped, but man oh man I wish I hadn’t listened to them. It’s your typical Square Enix style RPG. Character models and overall graphics in city landscapes are not the best. It seems a bit stilted when it comes to dialogue and side quest are mediocre. The combat and traversal completely make up for all of its shortcomings. I’m playing this for free due to my PS+ subscription, but at this point I’ll pay full price for the game to support the developers.
