The Girl in the Dream, is an romantic thriller which is an amalgamation of love, passion, ambition, betrayal, conspiracy, friendship and history. Cover speaks what all the story is.Though, the start was a little bit of cliche it was all good, as the story progressed it got interesting, mysterious elements, ancient history all were penned very well. Timelines were described very well. Plot lacked the grip to keep me hooked. It was just a mysterious aspect that made me stick till the end. I especially loved Vivaan's character portrayal. Riya, Rachit and Swara's character were also good. Mysterious girl and her story forms an important part of the book, mystery , suspense behind her is maintained till the end.I enjoyed the second half of the book more than the first half, as second half reveals many secrets.It's fast paced. Book needs some editing,strong characterisation and gripping element. For beginners and people who love reading romantic thrillers I would suggest !! .
