Kalki 2898 AD is an amalgamation of the Indian mythology and the futuristic society. A very well attempted international representation of the sci-fi genre from the Indian Cinema. Great way to show our history, heritage and culture to the present and forthcoming generations of our country as well as the whole world. Brilliant conceptualization through integrating our rich past of Hindu mythology with the future environment. The first half builds the story gradually through plots developed with details but could have benefitted well by cutting down some random scenes, making it more crisp. The second half is the real deal. As the quote says that "one who cannot survive the bad days, won't be able to reach the good days", likewise the viewers need to survive the first half to reach the marvelous second half. The concept, visual effects, grand scale of cinematography, production design, cast and their performances are the true ingredients for success of this film. Legendary performances given by the legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan supported by Superstar Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.

The boy next door performs below average. Weak plot and bad screenplay. The characters' portrayal is not at all convincing. The main protagonist being a teacher is unnecessarily glamorized and the antagonist's obsession is unjustified. Dialogues are very poor and repetitive. The story entails a sensitive issue and it could have been more appealing if we could have watched a middle aged woman's real and grounded dilemma and complications in relationships resulting from an affair with a younger man.

Honest and deeply convincing portrayal of a mentally disturbed character by phenomenal Joaquin Phoenix. Music by Hildur Guðnadóttir is apt and contextual throughout the movie. Direction by Todd Philips and cinematography by Lawrence Sher was truly commendable. However, some scenes could have been more empathetic and personified. Rest, everything is just refreshingly brilliant. 👌

Uri just hits the bull's eye with its on the mark performance. Subtle yet powerful performances delivered by the whole ensemble. Vicky seems to have a tight grip on his character and portrays it with great ease. This actor is climbing his ladder of success very consistently through his understanding of the roles he plays. Yami also shines as an actor and so do Kirti & Mohit. A great shout out for Paresh Rawal. He is simply effortless. He always becomes the character which he tends to play. Great direction, engaging background score. Justified its running time.

This drama has gone over the top and illogical. Why the characters are so melodramatic? The character Jaya is ridiculously manipulated, she doesn't trust her own instinct and intellect, on the other hand, Samar is exhausted, however still after Jaya. Why don't he give her some space so that she can understand her own feelings. Last but not the least, Satya is an unreal and illogical psychopath character which is leading nowhere. Its an earnest request, please shape the story to be more considerate and real too.

Demonic need to control still resides within Grey and for Ana, it seems she has been shifted from a steel cage into a Golden one. She still has to struggle to earn her right to freedom. At length, this movie could have been more of Christian's salvation from his earlier bondage and real freedom and value for Anastasia. Movie displays much more luxury and fails to convey the real feelings of newly weds.
