The remake is worse in my eyes bc the 1990s version was so much better. Some big name actors some over acted some under; but Ezra Miller's trash man was easily the worst. Wove in a few woke themes as any terrible 2020 remake would. Finally the ending is just so complete and utterly botched! Its a crying shame. Idk if its closer to source material or not, but compared to 1990s miniseries it falls flat.
