Upanishads have always been liked with Hinduism and this book incorporates lots of topics from Upanishads. Hence, I was initially bit reluctant to gift this book to my friends from non-Hindu religion, thought they might take it as a religious book. As I went through the book, I realised the teachings seem to be appropriate to everyone irrespective of any religion, country, race or gender. Acharya Prashant himself have stated in the book " Upanishads are the very core of religion_religion without any name, not any particular religion" and they are the heart of religiousness itself. In my view, anyone who is interested to follow the path of truth will find this book as an excellent initial guide for their search of truth. Moreover, contrary to what the popular spiritual culture says, Acharya prashant has clearly mentioned that the real spirituality is for the dissatisfied ones, its not an escape or a vacation from a stressful life, the book genuinely welcomes the real seekers. ๐
