If you love the books then you will hate this awful adaptation. It’s so twisted, unfaithful and unrecognizable that they shouldn’t have called it Wheel of Time/ Eye of the World. The acting is bleh, the editing looks unfinished and the writing!!?? Why?! If you have so much to work with do you throw 90% of it out. I feel bad for RJ and his family. I am sad for the fan base. I am shocked anyone greenlit this crapshow. It looks looks cheap, rushed and managed by inexperienced and inept newbies that are breaking into the entertainment industry. I’m sure Rafe could have hired an experienced fantasy and sci-fi film crew in 2020/2021. At the very least if people were tuning into the show that liked what they saw they could then be inspired to read the books but that is unlikely now. The two mediums have pulled so far apart that they have created two entirely different bodies of work and only one was good. And it isn’t this drivel. Watch Dune instead. That was great! Even Sanderson agreed. ;-)
