I was intrigued with the first season, and liked how she exposed her husband's lies to his investor. However, with that being said, the second season shows you how pathetic a mother she was to her son. She blamed everything on the father. She broke many codes of ethics in her practice, all to get her revenge as an all-around-woman-scorned. Spoiler alert: the whole time you think what a liar and scoundrel her husband was, and you find out she left her son,Tom, while he was an infant, resulting in Simon giving up his career to care for him. So while it was wrong of him to cheat, he was the one who stood by his son originally. All she could see was revenge at the expense of her son's emotional welfare. They both were pretty bad parents. Depressing to know Tom had neither a good mother, nor father. They're both to blame!
