Timeline of an Outriders play session:
You boot up your game. You try to log in. Stuck on "Authorizing". You quit and boot up again. Stuck on "Signing in" for 5 minutes. You quit and boot up again. You're in. Now you wait for your friends to go through the same thing. You invite them to your game. You start a mission. One friend glitches out and can't move above walking pace. You wait for them to go through the 10 minute boot/stuck/quit/boot cycle to get back in. They're in. Now the host's game crashes, booting everyone. You all boot up and quit three or four times to try to get the game to work again. You're finally in and everything seems to be working ok. At this point, anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes have passed and you have yet to actually play the game.
You get 5 minutes in to a mission and encounter a progression stopping bug, for which the only fix is to, you guessed it: restart the game. Everyone quits and goes to bed, because why would you do this to yourself.
I bought this game the weekend it launched and I doubt I have more than an hour or two of actual playtime across maybe a dozen attempts at playing the game. This evening it finally beat me and I have given up and uninstalled the game.
So, I would say don't get this game.
