The book is well written and the storyline started off well, but it went way off the tangent with unnecessarily prolonged dialogue about the sexual desires of homosexuals. It made me wonder if the author was gay and just wanted to ‘get his jolies’ by writing about his experiences… and I discovered that, yes, he is gay. The book was very long too and I was relieved to finish it and move on to another subject!! I also found all the missed chances of reconciliation during the storyline quite frustrating… although (spoiler alert) … they got there in the end.
