Disney has been spitting out their animated classics and turning them into visually amazing disappointments. The "realism" of our favourite characters has eliminated the beloveded whimsy and quirkiness from impactful songs such as Scar's "Be Prepared" and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" (which by the way should be renamed Can You Feel The Afternoon). Whilst the voice cast was filled with star power their performances were overall monotone and held no "character". The restrictive direction of realistic 3d models also contributed to this. Overall Disney has yet again missed the mark with their collection of "remakes we don't want more of". Get the kids to watch the original instead.
