I watched this as I thought it was different from the normal themes of TV dramas (ie detective series, female empowerment or bubblegum light entertainment). My husband switched off mentally within 5 minutes and spent the entire four part series studiously engrossed in his phone. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and persevered, watching all 4 episodes. How I wished I hadn’t bothered. What a load of twaddle! I’m obviously not as clever as I thought I was- I can’t comprehend the 4&5 star reviews this has been given on here. I obviously missed all the subtle nuances portrayed and just thought it was self-indulgent navel gazing with no real meaning or purpose. As the saying goes, that’s 4 hours of my life I won’t get back!
