As a book fan, I absolutely love this show and can not wait for the next season. Now to be fair, there are a bunch of changes from book to screen, which is gonna happen because of the medium, but for the most part I rather enjoy the changes made and parts added. Honestly my favorite part is the absolutely, fantastically, amazing fight scene in episode eight, but I don't wanna give away too much for those who might not have seen it yet. *SPOILER WARNING FOR FIRST EPISODE* The only big change I didn't get nor appreciate was Grover snitching on Percy to get him expelled from school. Now I don't exactly remember how it happened in the book, but I know that ain't the way Grover is. That was a bit upsetting to see but I am hopeful that they will turn his character around from that. Now I do understand that it is explained why in the show, but even the explanation is off because snitching like that just doesn't feel very much in line with Grovers character. But again, overall loved the show and truly can not wait for season two and beyond to grace the tv scene. Making into a TV show was the best way to adapt this wonderful world and fantastic series. Thank you to everyone who has put their time, effort and love into this show.
