Very frustrating… but in a wonderful way! Slow and suspenseful, many times I wish I could skip ahead and find out what was happening, but the slow suspense is what really made the show so very captivating for me. And now that I’ve watched it, I’m anxiously waiting on a second season. First of all the acting was amazing, the scenery eerily beautiful especially if you’ve been to Iceland and Vik, but most of all the portrayal of personal struggles of what each character was going through showed how we’re all human and that we all have personal conflict even if we don’t share it with each other. I was kept on the edge of my seat wondering if events would turn dark and sinister or be full of beauty and fulfillment. Yes, there were some plot holes and questions of why and how, some of the sci-fi aspects were “out there,” but it didn’t subtract from the enjoyment of the show. Probably not recommended if you have ADD or looking of fast paced action and thrills, but overall… Wow, I’m looking forward to watching it a second time for all the subtle details I missed the first go round!
