This drama in my opinion is worth 4.5 stars, but I want to be kind since it's a nice drama so I'm giving it 5 stars. Tons of scenes are hilarious that make you smile and jolly. It's April 1 at the moment so I'm waiting for Episodes 11 and 12. For now, I'm giving my ratings to the characters and the current episodes.
I like the vibe of Kang Tae-Moo as a rich President of a company. His image is a person who is cool, rich, and confident in himself. As he said, he's good at everything and I completely agree. He's rich, handsome, and skillful. I just don't really like him flexing all the time on the early episodes. I think that's why Shin Ha-ri came into the picture to make him face reality. Ahn Hyo-seop made the right decision to accept this offer, he's perfect for playing Tae-moo. I also like they added a funny female lead for the male lead. Since Tae-moo is cold and roughly funny in the early episodes, it's perfect to have some comedy as it'll be boring. It's better than Now, We're Breaking Up, the last Korean drama I've watched. Both main leads were cold and boring, which made the show more tiring to watch.
The early episodes were flawless, I absolutely love it. It's sad to see that this drama has only 12 episodes. It deserves more than 16 episodes or maybe an S2. I think it won't be possible though for an S2 since I've heard Hyo-Seop has an upcoming drama this 2023. Going back to the drama, it makes you feel different feelings. You'll laugh hard at those witty jokes the drama randomly presents, and you won't be disappointed.
Onto some flaws about the drama. I don't know why I don't feel happy when I watched Episodes 9 and 10. It felt so sad. The scenes were funny, but I just couldn't laugh anymore. I did laugh when they mentioned BTS in some scenes of Episode 10 and any other scene. I just didn't feel happy about their date and when the episode was about to end. It felt so gloomy. Kim Se-jeong's face looks sad on their date, and Hyo-seop looked like he was forced to smile. I understand it's because of his trauma when it rained, but it's so sad.
Other than that, please do try watching the drama. It's based from a webtoon I've read as well. The drama changed a bit of the scenes, but it was a good thing to do as it would've been boring to see the same exact scenes on TV. It might not be your cup of tea, but before you know that, do watch it.
