Some decent acting, filming and directing......but for a film that touts it's searching for truth, it certainly leaves a lot that out...and unfortunately, that is what propaganda does. I read another review that said this could be used as a way for the modern EV church to open their doors to the LGBTQ+ community.......maybe. I would support that message. It would certainly be Christ-like, similar to when Jesus praised the behavior of a Samaritan (the outcast of the religious folks during Biblical times). But at best, that would be a very fringe message. Frankly, this was was really more of a 2 hour informercial for Cavalry Chapel and Greg Laurie than anything else...pretty unfortunate really. What a wasted opportunity.

It has its bright moments, but then quickly goes back to being ridiculous. Quick easy binge. Ultimately, if you view this as anything other than satire, you are likely to be disappointed. Reluctant three stars.
