This book doesn't harm anyone, but the message, delivered in the story, is not good.Young readers understand that if you have problems with your family, the best way would be run away, live like homeless, steal from people, eat from rubbish bins to survive, instead that just solve problems with bravery. At the end of the story I awaited the good ending, such as boys going back to their father and live without anger, or the girl Pez going back to her family, maybe they missed her.

This book is not suitable for young readers, being parent I would not recommend this. There are swearing words. This is not the way our girls should learn from. When the writer makes this desision to use things in book such as alcohol, smoking and killing himself because of one person in his life in early youth, the publisher should pay attention to it and NOT PRINT IT OUT, to sell this book, until the contents of speech and characters actions would be corrected. These days teen are quick to absorb what they read or see on Internet and this book should not learn teens to do things to harm themselves. I would not recommend this book for my children(I am happy I read it first before I had have give it to my daughters). Books are meant to amuse people, to take them to the other imagination world, to think better and forget problems that occur in our lives.,not to learn how to harm himself or give up. The future teenagers must become better, not worse.
