Just got Netflix. Was a bit cautious about watching this as Ricky Gervais to me can be a bit much. How wrong was I ! Binged After life in 2 goes, absolutely mesmerising. The pathos and emotions in this comedy drama are outstanding. The character can easily be recognised in all of us who grieve. The message is clear - it's the things you do for others that matter. Good to see that Mr Gervais uses his fellow actors from his other comedy roles - true admiration and loyalty. I don't mind admitting I cried buckets through this, you have to be stone not to. Best drama in years - 10/10
