The film is a great starting point for anybody wanting to get a glimpse of what it's like to be a Palestinian living under occupation.
The film offers raw insight into the apartheid laws created to prevent Palestinians from ever accomplishing anything "legally" and kept in a perpetual cycle of losing everything because they don't have "permits".
The frustration and helplessness of the young man, Basel, is a heartbreaking tale of a young man with dreams of using his degree in law to help his people, dreams of getting married and having a family but hesitates wanting to bring children into a world of brutal occupation and apartheid.
Besides, why wouldn't you want to watch a movie deemed so controversial that Zionists flood the reviews because they cannot cope with anything that counters the expertly crafted propaganda they've conditioned the West into believing?
