Great writing, but I am soo pissed at how some of the characters are treated. By the time some of the darker present tense stuff came into view I was seeing the protagonist as my baby and I wanted to fight the author for making his life so hard. I had to DNF. I’m gonna have to find a cliff notes of the ending, but I wouldn’t be emotionally stable enough to finish reading this.
