The problem when releasing any movie or drama that’s based on a true story, is that attention to detail is critical. It’s obvious that fans who know Def Leppards history well, will be watching and scrutinising every detail adds up! There was one thing that really frustrated me. It was so obvious, that no filming was done in the UK. Def Leppard were formed in Sheffield, England, but the filming is obviously taken from streets in the US or Canada somewhere! It made it look so amateurish! If you can’t get the backdrop right, why the hell bother ??? You could blatantly see that vehicles and buildings were hidden to disguise the location! 🙄 Apart from that, the story was mostly on the right track, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it again! I think Def Leppard deserve more credit than this film offers. 🤔

We had mixed feelings about this drama. It had you glued to the screen for the first three episodes, but as the series appeared to get more and more complexed, we spent more time stopping and rewinding clips we had to watch twice or more to understand what on earth was going on !!! An episode could take us twice as long to watch, simply because I’d pause the programme and ask my partner if she understood what had just happened? We’d then have a huge debate, before rewatching the sketch!
