Great game if you're into co-op, adventuring and getting into a bit of trouble. It keeps you on the edge of your ship, as the seas be dangerous with skeletons, megalodons, the Kraken, and even worse, other players. If you're wondering about any negative reviews, it's probably cause the game isn't meant for them. This game is soloable, but you REALLY wanna play with others. So if you got friends, or is okay meeting new people via discord, it's a great social game to experience with others. Playing solo is totally do able, but will require a little more effort. If you're up for da challenge, then go for it! I play solo if people aren't on. The content ranges from PvE treasure hunt type quests, which are pretty easy at first, but once you gain enough rep you start getting harder quests. Or PvE combat with skeleton lords, where you can fight waves of different type of NPCs until you relieve their Capt to obtain their booty and skull. Or maybe you're into adventure and wanna fish, sell your stock and deliver ware across the seas. There is also PvP. If you are not into people who COULD steal from you, and grieve too much if things don't go your way, this game is not for you. If you enjoy games such as ARK: Survival or Minecraft, or then this is a quick pick up. If you're into Pirate Fantasy, this is a yes yes yes get game. Once again, this game is not for grievers or people who don't enjoy a little grind. This game can be grindy but there is so many threats that will pop up at any moment and could shift the tides. But there is plenty to do! Even tho the game is about pirating, I've came across the most positive people during my voyages. If you're tired of a toxic community that Overwatch, League of Legends, etc brings, try this game out. It's more relaxing and less toxic BUT don't be fooled. There is still competitiveness and people wanting to fight you. This game is currently 40 dollars on steam.
