An insufferable first episode that relies to far too heavily on cgi while also shirking much of avatar lore. If you want to watch a good Avatar series, go watch the original.

One of the best stories I think I've ever watched. It's visually amazing, every scene feels like it belongs and each fight is truly a spectacle. The storyline is so much fun, I've watched it over five times and each time it still manages to pull me in. As for it's cast, I can't think of a single complaint, the voice talent on this show had dedication and skill beyond expectation. The characters are fun and quirky, each feels like an individual and even the villains are enjoyable, I was genuinely sad to see some of them go. From start to finished, this show truly is a masterpiece.

A phenomenal master piece that takes dedication and patience to understand. I've never seen, and probably will not ever see, another film like it. Visually each scene transition is clear, its pacing keeps you glued to the screen, and it is well cast and directed. It is not without its flaws, like the choice to keep cast members across racial lines, however, in the context of the film this makes sense. The movie will probably not compare to the book, one I haven't read, but I have nonetheless revisited it several times and never been disappointed.
