Days Gone is a great game, even with the bugs and occasional FPS issues. NO GAME IS PERFECT!! The negative media hype is garbage, I can play this game for days and not get tired of it. The story is good, the gameplay can be a little repetitive; however, it’s still immersive and addicting at the same time. There’s a lot to do in the game. Days Gone is a few gameplay titles wrapped in one, the trick to this formula is to make it cohesive and balanced, and Bend studios did exactly that. There’s a lot of information in the game, so it was a reasonable move to make changes from the demo, and since the title is now in it’s sustainment there should be patch fixes and upgrades in the foreseeable future. Don’t let negative media hype ruin the experience for you. It’s a great game, give it a try.
