I don't understand the critics raving over this show. I love Nathan , everything he has done up to this point has been pure genius. The curse, was absolute garbage. They were attempting some art house social commentary thing that failed on almost all levels. The only thing it succeeded at was showing how far left activists have pathological self destructive altruistic tendencies. That aspect was on point. The credit card at the jeans store. Giving away the house to the degenerate immigrant. Avoiding calling the cops on criminals. Hindering the only good guys in the neighborhood because guns make her "uncomfortable". All of it is performative, and has nothing to do with actually helping people. It's all driven by self interested vanity to show off to the world what a wonderful caring person you are. But hey, at least she got to make up for her horrible evil parents providing cheap housing to drug addicts and criminals. They were right, where else are they going to go other than the streets? The show was horribly paced. It was filled with supposed "artistic" B footage that ate up half of the run time but serves no purpose. The acting was fine. The ending was a total sham and whatever point they were trying to make was lost on everyone watching except for self important media critics that don't want to offend Hollywood producers by telling the truth. It sucked, it was boring, and I hope that Nathan goes back to making comedy and the rehearsal. Please, cancel this show.
