Absolutely amazing read from the first page to the last. As a local of Inverness for the best part of my life as in 50 years the story brings Inverness, it's streets and surroundings to life which the author has so expertly managed to incorporate in this beautifully written account of life and times in the 14th century. I have to be honest it brought a tear to my eye right at the very end "it would be easier" 🤗🥰
