Though most of the characters are unlikeable, (minus my girl Emily) the plot and the writing of the show somehow makes up for it. Emily has got to be one of the best written/most likeable anti hero main characters on tv. I wish more shows gave the vibe that this one did. I am a firm believer that a flawed main character could make or break a show, and in this case- it made the show. Though Emily could be seen as “selfish” or “cold” to the majority of the characters on the show and even some viewers, I honestly fully sympathize with her. Emily Thorne will always be on my ‘Top 5 favourite female characters’ list. This will 100% be a show that I will rewatch until I can’t anymore. I would do ANYTHING for a Revenge game (like the desperate housewives game, it would have been so ICONIC in the 2010’s) Definitely one of my favourite shows, it deserves more recognition and so do the actors :( They all did a marvellous job bringing real emotions to the series.
