Finally, a movie worth going to the theater for! Best thing to come of Hollywood in 20 years. I am child of the 80s. I probably watched the original Top Gun over a hundred times, and I can honestly say the sequel is even better. The acting is excellent, the plot is well-written, and the character development, especially concerning Maverick, is so well done. Great action sequences too.

Should have gone to see Top Gun Maverick again because at least that movie is worth the price of the ticket. This movie tried desperately to be funny and failed miserably. Thor could have such an incredible story, but instead Chris Hemsworth turned this character into a fat joke and then, with this latest installment, a joke that doesn't even elicit a laugh.
