I saw this movie several years ago and watched it again the other night. It was so well worth a second viewing. I saw things I had absolutely missed the first time around. I was so impressed with the performance of Sylvester Stallone. I have to say, it has to be one of his best performances of his acting career. He actually makes the movie worth watching. Admittedly, stylistically, it’s definitely a 90s film but it’s an interesting plot and Stallone’s impressive character development through the movie makes it so worth watching. I intend to watch it again and I give it five stars because of Mr.Stallone’s touching & memorable performance.

Poignant & sad… observation of ‘the human condition’. A sincere look at a part of our society that traps young people into already well established corruption…. as they try to survive. Touching story about a young man’s struggle to redeem himself & live life without regret. Spoiler alert: Why bother to watch the movie when Roger Ebert can write a review the length of “War & Peace” & spoil the whole thing for you? Everyone be impressed Roger can write. 😡

Worth watching for the ‘acting’ of Mortenson & Isaac, or if you’re interested in ‘noir’ type films. Otherwise, what initially presents as an interesting plot, becomes an endless ‘droning-on’ of poor character development with an absurd & disappointing ending. Perhaps an attempt to emulate ‘Hitchcock’? ‘It’s always about the money’ … ? Maybe that’s why such good actors make films with scripts so unworthy of their talent & experience. This had the potential to be an intelligent, psychological thriller… but fell flat, imo.

Excellent film! Will not disappoint. Interesting accounting of a young British citizen/federal whistleblower, who risked everything, in an attempt to save British, American & Iraqis lives by leaking information revealing the facts behind an imminent illegal war. “Is your allegiance to your government or to your country?” An ‘intelligent film’. Recommend.

Very poor production quality…. evident in 1st 5 min of film. Poor plot continuity. Even the audio was poor. I expected so much more considering the actors… do they really have to accept roles like this considering their success & reputations? My mistake was in not reading reviews 1st… I assumed it would be worth watching. The ending was unnecessarily gross & absurd. Do not waste your time!

Fun, edge of your seat movie. Chris Pratt & J.K. Simmons... always deliver. Not a sci fi fan, but I enjoyed this one. C-graphics were excellent. Hard to be original with science fi anymore, but plot definitely held my interest. I had a good time for 2 hrs! Want to see sequel.
