I mean I struggle with Woody Allen movies as it is. They always seem overly scripted so all the actors just look like they’re acting (except Julia Roberts who is the only believable one) but the musical element reflected the old 1950s musicals which made the whole thing incongruous and without real soul as it’s supposed to be the 90s, just a bit weird. I’d rather watch My Fair Lady and the musicals of that time as they’re so much more enchanting.

Loved this! Gripped from start to finish with a really interesting concept. Thankfully the voice dubbing didn’t bother me which I thought it would and I loved the music throughout, particularly all the 90s grunge. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼
