I'm sorry, but no. I'm halfway through this drama and extremely annoyed with it.
The acting is good, passable; however, the conflicts are draining. At least 1/4th of the characters assume things/jump to conclusions without asking or just blatantly saying what the problem or what they think the problem is. It's very annoying because you spend most of the drama waiting for characters to find out a particular detail about another character.
The FL relationship with the mom is realistic because who doesn't have family issues, but the FL spends most of her time feeling sorry for herself and letting people walk over her than just sticking up for herself and moving forward. Her relationship with the ML is draining because each character waits until something is extremely wrong for them to finally say something about how they truly feel. Many of the problems could be avoided if they'd just speak up, especially the FL.
The ML gives me a male version of the FL. Honestly, they're perfect for each other because they act the same minus the random acts of dominance by the ML.
The male side character is too cute and I kinda wished she'd have chosen him, but of course once you're in friend zoned, it's hard to get out. They did have a more realistic relationship and had potential to be love interests than the FL with the ML, but oh well. Drama writers love to make the narcissistic prick the ML and the caring, best friend the unappreciated trash can. Not surprised, but disappointed.
The chemistry between the two lead characters is a bit refreshing and doesn't seem forced...thank the Lord, but their relationship seemed toxic from the beginning and could've been so much smoother with appropriate communication. Not even between them two, but with other characters, in the show, as well.
I've seen more dramas with less budgets, no huge development, that were WAY more realistic, refreshing, romantic, and comedic. This one is not it.
