Loved it! I thought it was so funny and modern without feeling too "well back in my day" or forced. My one critique on the movie would be that Karen and Regina really were like- the best. Karen always had something funny and dumb to say. The movie held the same premise as the original. the songs were made to be more screen adaptable. Song's like "Someone get's hurt" or "World Burn" were really like the best out of the whole musical. The cinematic-ness was so smart for songs like those. Not making it so unbearably broadway. I got a little nervous listening to the studio version of the songs but seeing it brought to life was truly truly incredible. Renee Rapp really is an expert at becoming Regina, I really think she made Rachel McAdams proud. Without spoiling anything, it was just so so funny. The cast overall is VERY likeable and they really remade the original without being too OOMF. Regardless of what any of the other reviews say, if you feel this movie piques your interest, you should give it a watch.
