Excellent French film, which keeps you guessing how it will pan out. The interplay between the two leads is excellent, and Emmanuelle Devos is particularly good, playing a plain girl, not given her right role in the office, but who is intelligent: not successful with men, and her relationship with Cassel is skilfully done.

Disappointed with this film Dialogue was a mess, made no sense. Music too loud. She tells him she has called the police, he made no move to leave. He was given lines which made no sense, she doesn't seem to know her own mind. With all the praise this film gets, I was really surprised to realise that it was very poor. Which makes me a peasant, I suppose.

Excellent film. Quite different from some of the dross around.

Definitely made for women! 20 minutes too long. Acting good.
