the cgi is honestly atrocious and as a result of it, all of the non-human characters look like poorly puppeted half alive animal footage stolen from a nature documentary that someone lazily voiced over. the cinematography alongside the cgi is the next worst thing, with the colour scheme being so dark for a large number of the films overall scenes - to the point where you’d forget this is a disney movie because it resembles more of a parody of one of the riverdale episodes. can we just go back to colourful, fun, bubbly & cartoonish animation? because this film combined the worst features of realism with poorly animated cgi of said realism and as a result…? it’s just difficult to watch.
