Didn't know what to expect (huge fan of willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, but did not like the Johnny Depp adaptation). This, even though it isn't a remake was absolutely brilliant. The songs didn't get in the way of the dialogue. Brilliant casting, filming, locations and stage settings. Timothée Chalamat is incredible and the casting is exemplary. Cannot recommend it enough.

Another one trick pony, whose dialogue delivery and tempo remains the same what ever part she plays. How annoying is her "talking to camera' routine. Unbelievably dour and plodding.
