Trex Crazy

So I am a big Metroid fan, in fact its probably one of my favorite series of all time. I like both the 3d and 2d installations. The game is ok but not exactly what I was expecting. It was disappointing to an extent with copy paste bosses littered throughout and copying a boss from another game. The progression didn't feel as rewarding and it was rather quick for my taste, though that may be due to my familiarity with the franchise. My issue with the game was, despite what I've heard some others say which baffles me, it wasn't all that challenging for Metroid game. The E.M.M.I. added some spice to the game and a challenge for a little bit till you get used to them. Though my biggest issue with the game is that the story is a little thin, not that the NES original was a riveting story told throughout. The game also has quite a few things that conflict with the already established lore of the game. It's it just could have been... so much more.
