I don't understand the hype. One of the cringiest things I have ever watched. People repeatedly putting themselves in situations they claim were so awful but then they go back. Again, and again, and again, and again......etc. Obviously there was some level of self-serving interest from the writing experience and the flattery from Martha. I didn't see any 'victims' in this - only people that wanted something for themselves from someone else, later disappointed when it didn't turn work out the way they expected. Also grossed out by the recent need for so much graphic display of gay intimacy - No interest in what happens behind closed doors...doesn't make it more acceptable, only puts people off more.

Disappointed, I used to think PBS shows were less biased. While I have always like Hugh Laurie, I could barely stomach this. Besides the virtue signaling, the level of disrespect that media has decided that 'offspring' are entitled to express to their parents is astounding. The whining daughter Lily is such a profound jerk thinking that she can do whatever she wants (right or wrong) while telling other people (sister and father) they need to meet her standards in their own relationship or actions. Listening to this girl speak to the rest of her family you wonder why anyone would ever even have kids to begin with.

I enjoyed season 1 minus all the screaming rants by JA and RW...I couldn't stomach the wokeness of season 2 or the incessant, whiny, obsessive, self-absorbed, weakness of the Alex Levy character who thinks of nothing but herself and how hard things are for her in the moment she claims to want to be different/better. It's gross but not much different than the direction of society obsessed with self all day- staring at themselves in selfies and pointless social media posts. And the portrayal of covid stats that were clearly wrong and lies at the time the last episode aired (1% mortality for something that never made it past 0.005%) is all you need to understand how manipulative the media is when it comes to consumer perceptions. So irresponsible.

I started out liking this show but then got sick of the constant political agenda. I don't care for Trump myself but the incessant need to bash someone else to elevate self is exhausting and makes me think even less of the one doing the bashing - especially when some of it was made up. This is an exhausting one-sided political advertisement for the left. After season 2 episode 7 and the whole "former dept of justice person" recommending what amounts to a scam as a way of persuading public opinion...politicians and the lawyers that advice them are all disgusting. The attitude that it's okay to break the law for a good cause. We are doomed.

Worse than awful, I don't know what that word is. I really like Alexander Dreymon - he is fantastic in The Last Kingdom but Allison Williams is also whatever word is worse than awful - so much unnecessary yelling with inappropriate emotional quality, just so bad and her bean pole arms pulling a full grown man into a flying plane and she sets his broken arm - give me a break. I don't think so. I only watched this because the reviews on Amazon were 4 stars so I guess some people had extremely low expectations. In hind sight I would have preferred to spend my time slowly tweezing my nose hairs.
