Please can we stop shoe horning black actors into Georgian England! They weren't there, and if there was one odd one they were a slave shipped over from the colonies. They certainly weren't riding around in gilded carriages with silk gowns on. When ever they commission a show about the Yoruba in 1700 they can all get parts, no problem.

So we HAD to get some woke crap in about the first guy on a horse in a film being black - I'll put that in the same bucket as Facebook memes telling me blacks invented penicillin. The sister character was just unbearable. She was talking some type of ghetto jive like the two guys from Airplane. I literally didn't understand half of what she was saying. Really annoying; was almost desperate for her to be abducted. Boring slow film. Nothing happens, literally nothing. I ended up scrolling on my phone I was that bored. Miss this one.

I would say, OK - ish. All the zeitgeisters saying he's autistic - nowhere did it ever say that. He's a shy inexperienced gay man and we've all been there. His father obviously adores him yet we see this character spit on his grave. I don't get all the comments saying that the drag queen deserves an Oscar - I actually think whoever played Tore was outstanding set against a plotline that was so hedonistic even Amy Winehouse would have raised an eyebrow. There was limited character development, odd relationship with his work colleagues (who had zero character), don't think he really loved the dog, his drag epiphany didn't go together. You don't just wear drag and get over grief. The shady druggy guy declaring love for him didn't fit with him being a sinister rapist. The LSD granny was by far the best character.
